Jake Goldenfein joined Swinburne Law School as a lecturer in 2016. His research addresses the intersection of law and technology, focusing on questions of privacy, surveillance, automated legal action (smart contracts), distributed ledger technologies and the history and theory of communications technologies, as well as copyright and other questions in intellectual property. Jake’s recent publications have explored the history of law enforcement intelligence databases, and the relationship of privacy to police photography.
